This is possibly the coolest thing I’ve seen all year. Stretta (aka Matthew Davidson) has created a generative music application, is generating 40 unique output files and selling them as a serialized individual song purchases. Once the 40 are sold, he’s auctioning off the software. The proceeds help to finance Stretta’s continued creativity by assisting him with a software purchase. $5 for a one-of-a-kind unique song that also helps support the arts? Nifty!
